Sean is an 18 year old Liverpool supporter, who’s future aspirations are to get into the England Amputee Squad for 2020 European Championships. He hopes to achieve the UEFA B license to give him a greater chance of becoming a Premier League Academy coach. He also enjoys the open access sessions, working with a range of abilities and ages, so would like to work within the Manchester City Football In the Community Programme.
He enjoys being a part of The iCue Academy because of the environment. ‘I can’t remember a session I never enjoyed. Having fun with both kids and coaches. There’s room for experimentation, chances to create new games to challenge myself. Fellow coaches so interesting to observe and learn from. Lastly, the kids. Always happy and friendly.’
To continue evolving as a coach Sean wants to develop his understanding of the technical detail involved in the game, to create a clear but evolving coaching and playing philosophy and to continually build his confidence when delivering.
